Elevator Scene

Okay, so I have this scene to do where the damsel in distress is tied to the underside of an elevator and is in danger of being squished. But our hero leaps into the elevator pit and holds the elevator car up long enough for her to escape. Sounds easy, doesn't it? Well, I have been having a time getting it to look right, to seem real. So I have made myself a scale model of an elevator car and an elevator shaft, and soon I will have my action figures in place and I will use this device to make sure I draw the scene just right. This is how I do it.

Don't worry, no action figures will be hurt in the making of this comic book!

You're making the toys as you draw the comic...you're a merchandising genius!

Other than hiring actors and jumping in an elevator shaft, this is the best way! I like how you think.

No. To be honest, college is getting in the way of this project. I'm very close to finishing it, but now I have classwork to deal with as well. That said, I'm glad to be back in school. I'm learning lots of very important to know artsy things. WHen I'm done I'll be a MUCH better, more skilled artist than I was before I started out. AND I'll be qualified to teach in a university. HELLO steady paycheck and benefits!
