Layout for Strongman

I am about 8 pages from finishing my "STRONGMAN!" graphic novel. At this point it is an important achievement for me. It's the longest sustained effort I've ever put into anything and I think I've managed to stay in character the whole way through. It's been a very difficult project, only in that it's the most work I've ever attempted before. I wonder if it ever gets any easier? We will see. I do not intend to sit still. I have a whole bunch of other things to get started on as soon as I have this in the can.

I am showing this one page of layouts because I think it's pretty interesting on its own account. In this layout I used some hand-drawn elements, some photo elements, some models and toys, and I collaged the whole thing together into a figure and shadow study to give an idea of the tight predicament our hero is in. Something fun for the kids. There you go.

Alright. School starts tomorrow. I'm as ready as I'll ever be.
